About

It is time for the African youth to not only be seen, but heard. Let’s engage with one another.

We are more than our injustices and our suffering, we are more than our skin colour or

nationalities, we are celestial beings who shine so bright that the sun is envious and we have

knowledge to share. We are reclaiming our narratives by creating our own. Yet our voices are in

dissonance, almost whispers in separate corners of a vast world This space will  bring together

strong African women and allies, both on the continent and in the diaspora, and collectively we can

clapback.

Note: Anyone who identifies as African can submit but this is meant to be a women centered movement and space to level out the playing field and visibility. We are amplifying the voices which are usually stifled, othered and ignored while acknowledging that the change we want to see will take collaborative efforts and so through love and anger at injustices, we are going to start and continue necessary conversations.
